Privacy Policy

Trade BlocX (tradeblocx.com) is a marketplace for buying and selling across various categories, operated by M.T.R Garments, Ludhiana, Punjab, India, 141007 ("Trade BlocX", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Account information: your name, email address, and phone number when you register, either directly or via "Sign in with Google" (in which case we receive your name and verified email from Google, never your Google password).

Listing content: anything you post - vehicle/property details, descriptions, prices, and photos you upload.

Messages: conversations you send to other buyers or sellers through the platform, so both sides can see message history.

Payment-related records: when you pay for a subscription plan or a promoted listing, payment is processed by Razorpay - we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a payment/order reference, but we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves.

Support and grievance records: anything you tell us when you file a grievance or contact support.

Usage data: pages you visit and searches you run, recorded for analytics and fraud detection with your identifying details (like IP address) cryptographically salted and hashed rather than stored in plain form.

To operate the marketplace: show your listings to buyers, let buyers and sellers message each other, and process subscription/promotion payments.

To send you notifications you'd expect: messages you've received, matches for your saved searches, and account security codes (like the admin login OTP) - by email and, where you've given a phone number, by SMS.

To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and listings that violate our Terms of Service.

To comply with Indian law, including the IT Rules 2021 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, and to respond to valid legal requests.

Other users: your name and any contact details you choose to share appear on your listings and messages, by design - that's how a marketplace works.

Service providers we use to run the platform: Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in), and our SMS/email providers - each only receives what it needs to do its job (e.g. Razorpay never receives your listing photos, and our SMS provider never receives your payment details).

Law enforcement or regulators, only when we're legally required to.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

We use a login/session cookie or token so you stay signed in, and basic analytics to understand traffic patterns - see "Usage data" above for how that's anonymized.

We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to records we're legally required to retain.

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, or ask what we hold about you, by contacting our Grievance Officer (see the Grievance Redressal page) or emailing us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge requests within 48 hours.

Trade BlocX is intended for users 18 years and older. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date; continued use of Trade BlocX after a change means you accept the update.
